|Lady Guinevere||Lady Cordelia|
The Lady’s in charge of the Spirit Charmers can be found at Frontiermarks and Domain of Winds.
Points of Interest: This is a CLAN Reputation, not a personal one so any player that want to do this has to be in a Clan, no lower than level 5 [since the pet has to be level 5 so that the Pet Essence drops from monsters]. Once the first batch of Pet Essence has been handed in the Clan Reputation will be shown under Clan => Attributes.
But, to get your first batch of Pet Essence to hand in you have to visit the Lady of your race and buy a pot of Ghostly Vision which has to be taken before the fights starts, just like a normal buff pot. The effects last for 2 hours and what most player do, is using it while doing a rainbow/rage and buffing up good. Reason is another effect of Ghostly Vision is that your HP is lowered with 25%.
When you and your clannies has gathered enough Pet Essence, minimum 400 Essence is needed from each pet and need minimum 10 different Pet Essences, then the Clan Leader can collect the Essence and go to Lady Guinevere or Lady Cordelia to hand it in. As can be seen in the Table below, the more varsity of Pet Essences gives an additional bonus to the Clan Reputation gained.
|Amount of Different Pets||10||15||20||25|
A few things to remember though when doing Pet Essence hunting is:
- You got to have your Pet feed during the hunting, if it’s Satiety goes to 0, there will be now Essence dropped.
- Even if a new clannie can start to gather Essence right after they joined a clan, it can not be traded to clan leader or put in clan bank until after 2 weeks has passed.
- The Ghostly Vision buff can only be used once a day.
- Least but probably most important, the monster you hunt has to be of same level as yourself !
Also, if doing the Essence hunting in a group, and if all group members are under the influence of Ghostly Vision then the first monsters characterises will be duplicated so the fight will end up with as many mobs as there is group members. The positive thing about this is that you will get Pet Essence from each of the monsters in the fight, so a full group would all receive 5 times the normal Essence earned.
